Fabulous work of art!

Good Saturday morning to you!  Hope your weekend is off to a great start!  I am nursing a cup of coffee and playing in my stamp room!  Saturdays are fun because they feel like no pressure laid back play days to me!  I usually wind up dragging out extra paper and ink and stamps and toys and just creating away.  This morning I have already made and mailed 3 separate cards!  Goooo me!  Thought I would share one of them with you.

Today I thought it would be fun to combine two really different stamp sets!  The pumpkins are from the Seasonal Chums stamp set and the sentiment is from the Work of Art stamp set.  They wound up working very well together!  Also, because it is Scrappy Saturday (my newest attempt to challenge myself to make use of all of my scraps!) I used several of the scraps laying on my desk!  Win, win!

Card base is Pumpkin Pie and I embossed it with the Polka dot Basics Embossing Folder.  Then I went to town layering little bits and pieces.  I used the Decorative Ribbon Border punch for the bottom and top of the whole cluster flipping it upside down for the top and right side up for the bottom. They are the Crumb Cake pieces.

Sentiment is popped up using Dimensionals and the little banners and accents dots are all made from scraps.

Annnnd the biggest news ever!!  It is still a bit under wraps, but Stampin' Up! will be releasing new alcohol based markers in the near future!!!  Ohhhhhhh myyyy!  Since I am a demonstrator I was offered the option to try these guys out before they begin selling them.  I am super duper pleased!!!  They come in light and dark color combo options and are called Blends.  They work beautifully together and blend seamlessly!!  I used those big guys to color my card today!

Here are the goodies I used to create my card today:

Hope you have a great weekend!  I look forward to the next time you stop by to visit!  Feel free to leave me a comment and say hello!  I will be back soonest with more to share!  Big ink stained hugs!
