Christmas card Sunday #5

Hello there!  I am at it again!!  Sunday means another Christmas card!!  Are you playing along with me?!  If not, it is not too late to start!!  Dive on in and make a Christmas card or two!  It will put you that much farther ahead when the holidays roll around this year!  Here is my card for the week:

I went with a warm vintage-y kind of feel for my card today. Some days feel more bright and bouncy and today just felt a little more laid back and comfortable.  My colors are Cherry Cobbler, Soft Suede and Very Vanilla.  I embossed the background piece with the Quilt Top Embossing Folder and added a piece of DSP with gold chevrons from the Bundle of Love DSP pack.  The image is of a classic Santa from the Father Christmas stamp set.  The sentiment is from the same set.

I added a few gold accent dots that I punched using a standard hole punch and I used circle punches to frame my sentiment.  I hand cut a tiny little flag banner to balance the feel of the whole card and tucked it under the sentiment.  I tried to create lots of visual interest, without making it feel too busy!

Here are the goodies I used to make my card today:

Wanted to remind you that Sale-A-Bration is going strong!!  A purchase of $50.00 or more earns you free goodies!  You can read more about that here.

Also, if you have ever considered becoming a demonstrator, now is a perfect time!!  In addition to your starter kit you will also receive 2 more stamps sets of your choice for signing up!!  You will receive a discount on all of your future purchases and you will be a part of my team! I would LOVE that!!  Click below for more details or feel free to email me with any questions!

Have a wonderful weekend and be sure to stop back by soon!  I have oodles more to share and look forward to visiting with you!
