Hey there! Has your Paper Pumpkin kit arrived yet this month? I am having so much fun with the February kit!! It is called Wild Flowers and is intended to make 9 cards. I took the whole thing apart though and am using it for different projects! Today I made a mini album using all of the bits and pieces from the kit plus a few of my own scraps! Want to see?
I used 2 card bases to create this little guy! Everything you see here is from the kit except the Blushing Bride, White White and Pear Pizzazz pieces of cardstock. I nabbed those from my scrap pile! This mini measures 2 3/4" x 4 1/4".
To create the book I cut 2 card bases in half and stacked them on top of each other. I adhered them all front to back and then using a leftover piece of cardstock from the kit made a small seam binder for the edge.
Here are the first set of pages. The tag, the Crumb Cake paper, the flower stickers and the leaves are all from the kit! I adhered everything in place and then cut down the leaves. I stuck the flowers on with the dimensionals in the the kit and tucked the leaves in under them.
The stamped flower images and the word "friend" are from the kit's stamp set. I cut the banner from one of my scraps.
Third set of pages! They use another tag and one of the beautiful flower stickers. I added a tiny little bow using the linen thread from the kit.
Here is the back cover. You can see how I wrapped the seam binding around the edge to neaten the whole thing up! Quick and easy mini album! Yay!!
Here are all of the goodies I used to create my book today:
