Hello there!! Happy Friday to you!! Hubby and I got up early today, had our coffee and then went on such a fun adventure!! I have tons of pictures to share, but first I wanted to remind you about the Valentine's Day Sampler Class that I am offering!

On to our fun adventure!! We purchased a kayak recently and so Hubs, the hound and I hit the water early! We packed a cooler and headed for a tiny little island! Talk about a good workout! Phew!! We had such a good time!! Here are some pics:

We found a beautiful little place to launch our new little boat!
Here is the hound all suited up and ready to go! Doesn't he look fancy?!! His name is Chewie and he pretty much rules the roost around here! He is a Jack Russell/Chihuahua mix.

We had just landed on the little island here. Time for some exploring and snack having! Don't judge...paddling is hard work! LOL
That little island off in the distance is reserved just for the birds!! There are signs up all over the place warning humans to stay away!! It was so cool to see it just covered with those amazing, beautiful creatures!! I would have gotten a picture, but I was busy wrestling with the hound! This one was on his way to that island.

I feel incredibly fortunate to have the opportunity to do this and we will definitely be doing it again!
Remember how I mentioned earlier that his tiny highness did really well the first part of the trip...?! Well, on our way back about 50 feet from where we started he got so excited he fell in! He was fine! Hubby scooped him right up and we both feel pretty certain that he won't learn a thing from it! LOL That is just how he rolls...wide open and super excitable!
He was supervising the fastening of the kayak here! He is a fun little guy!
Ok, well that wraps it up for me today! That sweet guy from above (the hubs not the dog!) is taking me to dinner tonight, so I am off to get pretty! I hope that your weekend if off to a wonderful start!
