Hello there!! How are you today? Hope all is well! I just spent the last hour and a half playing with my brand new free stamps! *big cheesy grin!* It is Sale-A-Bration time at Stampin' Up! and that means free goodies!!! Wooooot!! More details after my card:
Is that bird not beautiful?!! It is a two step stamp set which means you stamp one stamp and then a second one on top of it for a completed look! I kept my peacock a simple pink today, but cannot wait to play around with lots of tail feather color combos!! The gorgeous (free!) set has 12 stamps!! It has focal images, background stamps and sentiments. It's free...did I mention that?! :)
The sentiment that I used on this card is from Heartfelt Blooms...another free set! I just love that swirly, script-y font!! I did all of my stamping, did some paper layering and then cut a 3/4" Circle punch in half and tucked it under the bottom corner. Just a fun, little detail to add some interest to the card!
I stamped the bird body in Rich Razzleberry and then stamped the feathers right on top with Blushing Bride. I fussy cut that little guy right out and layered him back onto a Whisper White Circle and then layered that on top of a Starburst punch in Blushing Bride. He is a very regal looking creature!
Here are all of the supplies that I used to make my card today:
