Lots of Lavender!

Hey there!  I have been playing with some of my freebie Sale-A-Bration sets this morning!!  Have you scored any of these pretty freebies yet?!  Ever see a set and you think it just isn't you, but then you play with it some and think, huh, maybe it could be?! LOL  That is exactly what happened to me with this set today!  It is called Lots of Lavender and although it is a perfectly lovely set I just thought it wasn't my style.  Happy to announce that I am a big enough of a person to admit I was wrong!!  Oh my, is it ever pretty!!  It is another 2 step stamp set and doing the second step adds your color....love that!!  Take a look at the card I made today:

I used Sweet Sugarplum as my card base and embossed it with the Quilt Top Embossing Folder.  My layers are Pear Pizzazz and Very Vanilla.  I stamped my image in Basic Black and then stamped over it with my purples and greens!  This stamp set makes it so easy to fill in the color!

The leaves are a scrap left over from the Dec Paper Pumpkin kit.  I also added a few silver accents using Silver Glimmer paper and a standard hole punch.

The second layer of stamps gives the flowers a bit of a fuzzy or water colored look.

I layered several Every Day Label punches together after cutting off the end of my sentiment image to get this look.  The teeny little heart is from the Cookie Builder punch and the polka dots are one of the stamps from the set!  It is a really great set!

Here are the supplies that I used to create my card today:

Remember that for every $50.00 you spend during Sale-A-Bration you will get to pick a freebie!!  More details here:

Have a great day!!  I will be back soonest with more to share!
