Paper Pumpkin fun!

Hello there!  Are you a My Paper Pumpkin subscriber yet?  I have more fun with that thing every month!  I have been playing with December's kit a little bit today and made some alternate cards!  I say alternate, because there are always so many other things you can do with the kit than just the intended project!  I made two today and thought I would share them with you!

Brightly colored, fun cards for the win!  I used my own card stock bases and Silver Glimmer paper scraps, but almost everything else you see here is from the kit!

I embossed my card base and then used one of the small panels from the kit for my focal point.  I cut it down some and adhered it the the inside back piece that I cut it off of. I stamped the banner and added some flutter-byes.  The cut out is very intricate and really pretty!

Last step was to add some silver accents using a standard hole punch.

The kit also came with several green leafy panels.  I cut out one of the leaves and layered it over a piece of Whisper White.  I stamped the Happy Birthday stamp over and over again in a line. I embossed the card base and added the top end of a Best Badge punch.  I simply cut it down to size.  More butterflies and called it done!

I adhered the butterflies using glue dots so that I could bend up the wings giving them the illusion of flight.

This is what the complete kit looks like!  So many fun things to play with!!

Here is a list of supplies I used today:
