Heartfelt thoughts!

Hey there!  Ever find yourself missing someone?  I am having one of those days and it got me to thinking about how short life is and about how much you should appreciate the folks in your life.  There are no promises and no guarantees and so you should make the effort often to reach out and tell the people that you care about that you love them and that they matter to you!  My card today will be doing just that!  Take a look:

My card today uses the negative cut from the Layering Squares Framelits.  (I used the square on yesterday's card!)  It lets you peek through to the image; which in this case is inside the card!

I embossed the card front with the Quilt Top Embossing Folder and added a strip of paper to break up all of the blue.  I stamped my sentiment from Heartfelt Blossoms and punched it out using the Everyday label punch.  I punched a second one in chocolate chip and cut it in half to create a frame around the sentiment.  I tucked some gold foil leaves under the sentiment and added my accent dots.

I made a two toned card!  I wanted the inside to look like sky behind the tree image.

I used Blends to color in my image!  I just love those things!  They are alcohol markers and they do blend beautifully!

Here are the supplies I used to make my card today:

I hope to see you soon!  Have a wonderful day!
