Dog days!

Hello there!  Happy Saturday!  Got any fun weekend plans?  We are planning to take our pup to the park for a long walk!  It is the joy of his life! LOL  Speaking of puppies, I was feeling inspired to make another puppy card today,  so I  pulled out my In the Tress set and the very sweet Bella and Friends stamp set.  It is always a fun challenge to combine stamp sets for a different look!  Here is the look I came up with today:

I started by drawing a sidewalk and then covering it with scrap paper.  I stamped the tree three times letting the bottom half stamp on the scrap paper, so I could get bushes from the images rather than the whole tree.  Then I stamped the full tree!  I added grass in a lighter shade to both sides of my sidewalk.

I stamped the puppy on a separate piece of Very Vanilla and colored her with Blends and then fussy cut her out.  I added her to the sidewalk scene with Dimensionals and then stamped and colored all of her little squirrel friends!  I added some clouds using the the masking technique and stamped my sentiment.  Finally, I added some shadows with my Lt Smoky Slate Blend to give the whole thing more of a 3D look.

Ahhhhh...that face!

Here are all of the supplies I used to create my card today:

We are off to the park!  Hope your weekend is well on it's way to fun too!  I will be back soonest with more to share!

  1. Adorable! This is such a clever way of combining the two stamp sets. I love everything about it - your design and colors.
